2000 Visitors at the former V&D Alkmaar on Open Monuments day

On Saturday, September 14th, during Open Monument Day, two of our projects could be visited: the former V&D Alkmaar and the Carré van Bloemendaal.

From 10:00 to 17:00, the former warehouse was open to visitors. There were several activities and exhibitions set up, such as roller skating (by Cultuurkartel) and a rap performance. Various parties, such as Erfgoed Alkmaar and Jumbo, had set up tasting stations and exhibitions. You could also spot our poster boards illustrating the building's transformation, as well as project leader Thijs Giskes, at the event.

At least 2,000 people came by to visit the event!
