The Royal Haarlem Football Club was founded in 1879 by Pim Mulier, making it one of the oldest football clubs in the Netherlands. At HFC, a lot of value is placed on the club’s culture, tradition, and heritage, as well as on connecting a large and diverse group of people. Heiko Hulsker Architects were asked to design a new clubhouse that aligns with the principles of HFC.

At HFC, there was a need for renewal and sustainability. The interior, like the exterior, must respect the club’s new ambitions and traditions. These ambitions have been translated into a harmony between modern and classic. The foundation of the interior is formed by sleek, modern elements that come together with traditional materials, using the representative HFC colors.
